Road of Prosperity: Commercial vehicles exported to countries along the Belt and Road through China-Europe freight trains

　　Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Tang Yong) news: On August 12, 2023, at the railway port of Chongqing, the transit trucks were shuttling back and forth. Rows of commercial vehicles are prepared to take the China-European freight trains (Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe) departing for the countries along the Belt and Road through the Alataw Pass and Horgos Port in northwest China’s Xinjiang. According to the statistics of Chongqing Customs, from January to July this year, Chongqing exported 203,000 vehicles, an increase of 21.5% year-on-year, with a value of 17.69 billion yuan, an increase of 49% year-on-year.
